Wandering Wednesday

We had some time to kill today, so we decided to check out some local thrift stores. I haven't been in Savers in years and haven't ever been in the Idaho Youth Ranch thrift store just down from it - so we decided to check them out.
We spent the most time in the Youth Ranch thrift store. The prices were cheap-ish and they had a small sale going - all things with white stickers were half off, and the clothes with orange tags were 25% off. We got:

• a sandwich holder (in yellow) - 50cents (finding ways to not use so many ziploc bags)
  
• a food scale in box - 1.50 - also included 2 different food holders - looks almost unused (I've always wanted one of these, not sure how much I'll actually use it, but now I have one!...)
  
• a ballet bar - 1.50 - just like the one in the picture, but pink/white - nothing else included (Mylie aspires to be a ballerina someday - so she'll NEED this for practice.)
  
• 30pk Outlet plugs - 50cents (does this need an explanation?)
  
• gymboree shirt for Mylie - 1.75 (looks new, love the navy stripes + love cheap Gymboree + I can sell it to Other Mothers when we're done with it for just about this much)
  
• Old Navy denim skirt for Mylie - 1.41 (just cuteness + will sell to Other Mothers and get at least this much back!)
  
• new with tags, dance leotard for Mylie size 2 - 1.41 - kinda like this - but straps are braided (totally not necessary, but so went with the ballet bar!)
  
• gymboree shirt and pair of shorts (like these) for Jayden 1.41 each (cute, cheap, looks practically new... did I mention cheap?)
  

Then we had to go to Savers afterward... and we're glad we did. This trip wasn't cheap, but we got some great things!
We found:

• this rocking chair for Mylie - 6.99 (she loves chairs, this is adorable, she'll use it for the next 5 years at least - Braden fits in it...)
  
• this chair/step stool combo - in brown - 6.99 (we've needed a 3rd chair in the office for Braden to sit on and whenever we're done with it in there, it's got many other uses.)
  
• a lightsaber for Braden - 1.99 - he's been asking for one for FOREVER
• this gymboree dress for Mylie - 1.99 (totally frivolous, but PRETTY! and will sell back to Other Mothers well - no link and this teeny tiny pic is the best I could find.)
• a gymboree red jacket for Mylie - 2.99 (goes with some other stuff she had - couldn't find a good pic)

so yeah, I spent too much money. I need to just take like $5 in cash with me next time I go and stick to it.
