I forgot to take a picture of my purchases before putting them away. I was able to get these for the meat promo:
2 Jell-O Cheesecake mixes
2 pkgs Oreos
1 cream cheese
2 boxes Jell-O
1 Axe shower gel (Dark Temptation - yummy!)
2 pasta salad
2 snuggle liquid fabric softener
1 Country Crock side dish
2 Bertoli Oven Bakes
2 Knorr rice sides
2 Mayo with Olive Oil
1 lg Bryers ice cream
1 roast
1 ham
I also purchased these:
5 diet coke (always a staple + on sale + had coupons!)
2 gallons milk (free coupons from Kellogs cereal sale)
4 pkgs Albies shredded cheese (in-ad coupon for 1.25 ea)
2 jars clearance baby food (27 cents ea)
2 pkgs sliced cheese (bob needed for work pot luck tomorrow)
My total was $59.07 and I saved $107.23! about 64% - not the greatest, but good to me. It would have been better if I had remembered to use my 10% off a $50 purchase coupon, but I had to fight with the cashier to get two $10 meat discounts and completely forgot about it.
Awesome job! Good for you for fighting with the cashier for your savings. It would be nice if they would all know how everything worked so it wasn't such a hassle. So far I love our store in Caldwell because I haven't had to argue with them over anything.
ReplyDeleteI'm not loving my Albertsons (5-Mile/Ustick). They seem very inconsistent with their policies about couponing. I've heard that the Meridian/Fairview one is very coupon friendly though. There is one great cashier at my albertsons that I try to go through her line when I'm there, but last night she was manning the self-checkout lanes - I should have just used them, but I had a LOT of stuff.
