the Terrible Target Trip

I just got home from the most Terrible Target Trip! It wasn't so bad in the fact that I found most everything I went there looking for, but the casher (an older man -which should have been my first clue...) gave me such a hard time about EVERY single one of my COUPONS. Half of them were even TARGET coupons printed from their website. I spent the entire time he was checking me out, defending each coupon and the item(s) I purchased along with it. On most of them, I had to actually show him that I DID in fact purchase what was stated on the coupon. He whined and complained that "people like me made each of his 4 hour shifts turn into 8 hour shifts because all of the time he had to spend in the 'till room' accounting for all the coupons he'd accepted." Well, I'm sorry, but that would NOT be my fault - that would be the fault however Target chooses to handle those coupons.
And those of you who know me, will know that it really upset me, when I tell you that I actually CALLED the store on my way home and complained to their store manager. She assured me that she would talk to her entire "team" and make sure they understand thier coupon policy and that they do accept coupons for the items stated on them and that there should be NO problems with the coupons printed from their website. Let's hope it'll do some good - though it'll be a while before I go through a check out with an old man manning it again.

That sound terrible I AM so sorry. I am alway a little more nervous about grumpy checkers when shopping at Target. I really don't go there much. Hope the things you got made it worth the trip!
